Hyderabad, November 4: The Andhra Pradesh Excise and Prohibition Department issued a notification to fill up 1434 vacancies of Prohibition and Excise Constables in various districts across Andhra Pradesh.
The selection will be conducted through District Selection Committee – DSC chaired by the District Collector’s and other members.
Eligible candidates should take the application forms and other information from the Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise of their respective districts.
Excise Constable Recruitment Schedule:
–The District Selection Committee DSC will issue recruitment notification on: 15the November 2011
–Last date for submission of applications: 30th November 2011.
–The Preliminary Qualifying Test will commence from: 7th December 2011
–Physical Efficiency Test will be held from: 27the December 2011
–Written examination (objective types) will be held on: 29th January 2012.

It seems there is some procedural delays in releasing Excise Constable Recruitment. AP state Government has agreed for filling up vacancies, but department is still working out modalities. There may be some delay, but it will happen shortly. Be in touch with this space.
